Alison M. Field practices in the area of civil litigation, concentrating on medical malpractice defense including the representation of physicians and hospitals in complex matters.

 

Ms. Field graduated cum laude from New England Law | Boston in 2015. While at law school, Ms. Field earned a number of CALI Awards for the highest grade, including for Evidence and Hospital Law. She was also a member of the New England Law Review, and in 2015, her article, Defense Witnesses Need Immunity Too: The Circuit Split on Defense Witness Immunity was published in Volume 49. During law school, Ms. Field worked for a prominent Boston-based medical malpractice defense firm where she assisted attorneys in all phases of litigation.

 

Prior to joining SBH, Ms. Field worked at a Chicago firm concentrating her practice primarily in the areas of employment law and commercial litigation. She received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Indiana University. Ms. Field is licensed to practice in Illinois and the Northern District of Illinois.

 

Ms. Field is an active member in the Women’s Bar Association; Young Adult Forum, a section of the Young Professionals Organization; and serves as a mentor through the iMentor program.
