Christopher Miller Associate
Christopher Miller practices in the area of civil litigation, concentrating on medical malpractice defense, including the representation of physicians and hospitals in complex matters.
Prior to joining Smith Blake Hill, Mr. Miller was an associate attorney at a civil defense firm in Chicago where he defended clients in both state and federal court proceedings involving general liability matters, medical malpractice and §1983 civil rights claims. Mr. Miller also previously served as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County where he gained extensive litigation and appellate experience, prosecuting numerous bench trials, authoring appellate briefs and arguing before the Illinois First District Appellate Court on multiple occasions.
Mr. Miller graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law with honors in 2015 and was recognized on the Dean’s Honor List. Mr. Miller earned his bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Illinois Wesleyan University.
