Jordan Kaufman concentrates his practice in the area of civil litigation. Specifically, Jordan focuses on medical malpractice defense including the representation of physicians and hospitals in complex matters.

Prior to joining Smith Blake Hill LLC, Jordan was affiliated with Intrinsic Edge Capital Management, a nationally recognized hedge fund based in Chicago as a financial trader. Jordan executed and coordinated complex equity and option trading strategies for various domestic and offshore hedge funds. 

In 2020, Jordan received joint Juris Doctorate/MBA degrees at the University of Illinois at Chicago Law School in conjunction with Roosevelt University’s graduate MBA program.

Prior to law school, in 2017 Jordan received a Bachelor of Science degree in International Trade and Development at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
