Kathryn “Katie” Vaughan practices in the area of civil litigation, concentrating on medical malpractice defense including the representation of physicians and hospitals in complex matters.
Prior to joining SBH, Ms. Vaughan worked at a Chicago civil defense firm concentrating her practice primarily on catastrophic loss cases in the areas of medical malpractice, civil rights, and premises liability. She received her undergraduate degree in political science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Ms. Vaughan is licensed to practice in Illinois, the Northern District of Illinois, and Massachusetts.
Ms. Vaughan received her J.D. from New England Law | Boston in 2011. While in law school, she worked for a prominent Plaintiff’s firm working on all phases of litigation.
