Meet Skylar Nafziger!

Meet Skylar Nafziger, an incoming Associate Attorney at SBH. After obtaining her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin – Madison, Skylar attended law school at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, graduating cum laude.

Prior to joining SBH, she gained valuable experience working as a law clerk at several prominent firms in Chicago and as a Student Attorney with UIC Law’s International Human Rights Clinic. While in law school, Skylar explored her passion for writing while working as a Research Assistant, focusing on legal scholarship related to medical negligence and the Rules of Evidence, in addition to serving as a Lead Articles Editor and Head Staff Editor of the UIC Law Review, where she also published an article in the Spring of 2025.

In her free time, Skylar enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and dogs, exploring the city, crafting, and watching The Office.
